Terms of Service

By downloading or using Pyx("the app"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

Pyx is a mental-math practice app for iOS. It provides short timed and untimed drills across operations like addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and times tables, along with stats and streak tracking — all stored locally on your device.

Pyxdoes not require an account. Your practice data, streaks, and settings live on your device. You are responsible for the security of the device and the backups (or lack thereof) you maintain through iCloud or Apple's own mechanisms.

Pyx Pro is an optional paid subscription that unlocks additional features. Purchases and renewals are handled by the Apple App Store under their Standard EULA. Subscription management — including cancellation — is done in your Apple ID settings. We do not process or store your payment details.

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the app's source code beyond what applicable law permits.
• Resell, rent, or sublicense the app.
• Use the app in any way that violates applicable law or the App Store's terms.

Pyx, the Pyx name, the Cortex mascot, the icon, and all related branding are the property of the Pyx team. You are granted a personal, non-transferable license to use the app on devices you own or control, in accordance with the App Store EULA referenced above.

The app is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We don't guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will produce any specific learning outcome.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pyx and its team are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim related to the app is limited to the amount you paid us for the app in the 12 months preceding the claim (which, for free users, is zero).

We may update the app and these terms over time. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. Material changes will be flagged in the app where possible.
